As a kid, I got a pretty pale green faux pearl necklace from my grandparents and broke it.
Only a couple of the pearls remained, I saved them because I loved the necklace.
Yesterday I walked into a bead shop and found matching pearls, for the first time in 25 years.
I was planning to make a 50's style simple necklace with the original pearls
but this real turquoise stone spoke to me, so this happened.
Also the small white pearls were a broken necklace or bracelet,
it was given to me by my father after my grandma passed away.
She was amazingly talented and patient with crocheting, knitting, everything.
This makes me think of her. <3
